| 2 Stages Submission | STAGE 1 – Concept Design stage Maximum 1000 words of design brief to be submitted in A4 size layout in Microsoft word and PDF format. | Products | Each entry is compulsory to adopt and apply the product of Taiwan Excellence products as primary design inspiration for the competition idea. The overall design must include at least ONE (1) product of Taiwan Excellence which exhibited at ARCHIDEX2023. - Out of the SIX (6) products, at least ONE (1) product of Taiwan Excellence which will be exhibited at ARCHIDEX2023. - Other than that, the other FIVE (5) products can be products of Taiwan Excellence which will be exhibited at ARCHIDEX2023 OR award-winning Taiwan Excellence products under the category of Home, Construction Materials and Hardware Products (2018-2023) - *list of product that will be exhibited at ARCHIDEX 2023 - *award-winning Taiwan Excellence products The Remaining materials are advised to choose from the green product (eg: myHijau products, Green SIRIM, etc) |
RULES & REGULATIONS
- Participants must be enrolled in interior design, architectural and/or other relevant courses in either UTM or UTAR upon the time of submission.
- Participants will be disqualified if the participant is found to have graduated upon the time of submission.
- Only one entry is allowed per student.
- Entries must strictly conform to the submission guidelines and must be submitted to the contest coordinator of each school (whenever applicable).
- The final date of online registration is 05 June 2023, 11:59pm via website of Taiwan Excellence
- The Stage 1 submission due on 26 June 2023, 11:59pm via online submission.
- The Stage 2 submission due on 24 July 2023, 11:59pm via online submission. The submission must be in 300dpi in JPEG format only.
- Submission boards must be designed in vertical layout format.
- All entries shall become the property of Taiwan Excellence.
- The Judges’ decisions are final.
- 10 Shortlisted candidates will be notified and Top 5 finalists to make an oral presentation as part of the final judging procurement.
- Top 5 Finalists will be notified to attend the final presentation and award ceremony. Winning entries may be featured in marketing and promotional materials as deemed appropriate by the organizer and sponsor.
- Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or credit.
- The organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes with another product of similar retail value without prior notice.
